In field sales, there is often a lack of structured planning and transparent follow-up of customer visits. Appointments are often organized individually, resulting in inefficient routes, missed sales opportunities, and incomplete CRM data. Visit reports are created manually, often only after a delay, and important information is lost — a great deal of effort for employees while at the same time increasing pressure on efficiency and service quality.
Together with the customer, Liquam has developed an AI-based solution that structures the work of field sales, optimizes planning and automates follow-up.
A practical example:
A mechanical engineering company wanted to increase productivity in the field and significantly reduce administrative costs. The aim was to support sales with data-based recommendations, optimize routes and transfer the visit documentation completely and in real time to CRM — without additional effort for employees.
In this project, Liquam has developed a tailor-made solution that supports field sales with data and AI. After analyzing previous processes, intelligent appointment and route planning was introduced and a system for voice-controlled recording of visit reports was developed.
AI provides field staff with daily suggestions as to which customers should be prioritized — based on previous interactions, open offers or market information. After the visit, conversation content is recorded via voice input, automatically transcribed and transferred to CRM in a structured manner.
A central dashboard gives management a real-time overview of activities, visit status, and sales opportunities. The solution can be flexibly extended, e.g. with predictive sales analyses, cross-selling recommendations or integration into existing customer portals.
