Advice for supervisory and advisory boards

Supervisory boards and advisory boards are increasingly faced with the task of actively accompanying the digital transformation of their companies and setting the right strategic course. This is not only about opportunities offered by new technologies such as AI, but also about identifying risks, maintaining competitiveness and ensuring compliance. However, reliable assessments of the level of digital maturity and concrete approaches as to how digital potential can be exploited are often lacking.

Project Description

Together with the client, Liquam has developed a consulting format that is specifically tailored to the requirements of supervisory and advisory boards. The focus is on the structured assessment of digital maturity, the analysis of opportunities and risks, and the development of recommendations for action — in particular with regard to the sensible use of AI.

A practical example:

An advisory board of an international industrial company wanted to evaluate the company's digital strategy and ensure that new technologies such as AI were used in an economically viable and compliant manner. The aim was to be able to make well-founded decisions for further orientation based on a structured assessment.

Your Advantage
  • Clear assessment of digital maturity: Based on a structured framework.
  • Identification of opportunities & risks: Tailored to the sector, market and technology environment.
  • Well-founded basis for decision-making: For making strategic decisions in the supervisory and advisory board.
  • Focus on compliance & security: Consideration of regulatory requirements.
  • Realistic recommendations for action: Practical, implementable and prioritized.
  • Increased transparency: Management and committees are given a joint view of the status quo.
Out Solution

In this project, Liquam developed a tailor-made consulting format for an advisory board. After an analysis of existing strategies, systems and processes, the company's digital maturity level was assessed based on clearly defined criteria — from IT infrastructure and data management to the use of AI.

The results were presented in a structured report and in moderated workshops. Specific opportunities and risks were identified, practical recommendations were developed and priorities were defined. Particular attention was paid to issues of data security, compliance and the economically viable use of AI.

The format is scalable and modular — from one-off assessments to continuous strategic support, even as a sparring partner for the committee.
