Together with the customer, Liquam has developed an AI-based solution that automatically analyses requirements, optimizes product ranges and supports purchasing and cross-selling activities based on data.
A practical example:
A specialist wholesaler wanted to strategically develop its product range, reduce excess inventory and manage purchasing more proactively. The aim was to predict requirements more precisely, dynamically adjust inventories and support sales through targeted cross-selling recommendations.
In this project, Liquam developed an AI-based platform that automatically analyses sales figures, customer inquiries and market trends. AI identifies demand trends, calculates demand forecasts and provides specific recommendations for purchasing, warehousing and product range design.
The solution takes into account external market data as well as internal sales and movement data to adjust forecasts precisely and dynamically. Sales are supported by cross-selling and up-selling suggestions based on previous buying behavior and product gaps.
A dashboard clearly presents forecasts, inventory developments and potentials and enables management and purchasing to make well-founded decisions. The platform can be extended, e.g. to include predictive analytics for new markets or integration into existing purchasing systems.
